FREE Printable Sea Goddess Paper Doll

Here is another creepy beautiful 1:12 scale paper doll. This one is inspired by the sea. I’m kind of on a roll right now with the dolls! It’s just that I’m so inspired by our little haunted dollhouse! I keep getting inspired for new dolls. I am also working on a “real” doll, made of terra cotta clay, wire, and cloth. I can’t wait to finish her.

At any rate, I placed our Sea Goddess in the bathroom of the haunted dollhouse because she feels at home there with the mermaid skeleton in the tub.

If you’d like to print your own Sea Goddess, just save and print the image below, or you can get a PDF version here. Have fun!

Free Ouija Girl Printable Doll

This spooky girl was inspired by a coloring page that I made a long time ago. I wanted to make something spooky and witchy to offer in the haunted dollhouse groups I’ve been enjoying on Facebook. I was asked for a witch! She’s not your traditional witch, but I find her unique! I made a special ouija board and eight tarot cards for her too.

You can either print, cut and assemble the image above, or you can download a PDF of Ouija Girl here. Send me pictures of what you make with her over on my Facebook page. Enjoy!

FREE Printable: Edwina and Edward Allan Crow Dolls

I got a little obsessed with having and Edward Allan Poe paper doll for our gothic dollhouse. So I made one, and I gave him a gloomy little Victorian companion as well. In real life, Poe did marry, but the relationship was not what we would consider acceptable by today’s standards, as he married his first cousin when she was only thirteen, and the young lady eventually died from tuberculosis. In my fanciful world, I changed his wife into Edwina Crow, a fully consenting adult with big Tim Burton eyes.

Edward lives in his dining room, which he has taken over with his crazy neurosis of stacks of newspapers, magazines, money, food, and more. Meanwhile, Edwina dotes over the children of the Nightcare for Wicked Children.

These dolls are easy to print, cut and assemble, and they come with some cool accessories, including a tiny book that actually has Annabel Lee and The Raven in it’s pages, and a grandfather clock with a hidden compartment containing an anatomical heart.

You can print your own by simply printing the picture at the top, or you can download a PDF of the dolls by clicking here. Send me pictures of what you do with your dolls over on my Facebook page!

I am thinking of doing some Addams family dolls, but I can’t decide. Who should I make next?

FREE Tiny Paper Dolls, Super Weird

Thanks to my daughter and I becoming obsessed with creating miniatures, I made some new printable paper dolls to share with you! Now, these were made with the purpose of using them in altered Altoid tins, so they are tiiiiiiiiny. And not any official scale. But they turned out so weird and cute, I absolutely love them. Especially Edgar Allan Crow! I used my small hole puncher to make the holes to attach their wings and heads, but I’ll tell you, it cut it really close. May be best to just poke a hole with a needle.

If you’d like your own, you can print the image below, or if you prefer a PDF file, click here to download.

Fisher Price Dollhouse Makeover

Lately I have become obsessed and consumed with making over a dollhouse by turning into a gothic manor. My daughter and her friend and I found the perfect plastic, fully furnished dollhouse on Facebook marketplace. We took a family jaunt to go pick it up, bought some paint and supplies from Dollar Tree, and then the fun began!

We started with black “hammered” spray paint and painted the brick trim white with acrylic. we really couldn’t believe how quickly and how well it came together. I didn’t really know what to expect with painting on plastic.

I also didn’t know what to expect with painting the furnishings, or if we would really be able to get any sort of cool, spooky effect with them since they were very run of the mill plastic pieces. Boy have we been pleasantly surprised!!!

Our next step was to distress the exterior. The white brick trim was cool, but it looked to fake and plastic for the look we were going for. So, we used a “dry brush” method. We took some grey paint first, dabbed it onto a medium sized paint brush, and then dabbed most of the paint off onto a paper towel. Then we just gently swiped over the house, especially over the white brick. Repeated with some white, and then some black. Then, glued on some little foliage from Dollar Tree!

Next came the really fun part! The furniture and decor. This was the part I thought would make or break us. This furniture might just be took silly to be cool… But, my daughter Carmen and her friend Lexi ended up being REALLY good at repainting and distressing the furnishing, and then we added little details using Dollar Tree craft supplies and things we printed off the Internet. I have a thing for making paper dolls, so any doll we want for the place we can make!

One of my favorite features so far has been the rooftop printed grave yard. But, if we have a graveyard on the roof, then where are the bodies buried??? We needed to make our own catacomb, which I made by drawing little skeletons, skulls, and other items in Procreate. There’s even an old fashioned love letter in there! I mixed in some of our Dollar Tree foliage, glued it all down to a black piece of poster board, and then hot glued it to the ceiling! If you’d like to make your own catacomb, I have added the printable here for you to print and use!

We plan on being proper little goblins and just adding and adding to this place forever! So, check back often for more updates!

Quinn’s Story

This totally awesome creepy tale is brought to you my Outschool learner, Quinn, age 6. She is in my Story Makers Club She was tasked with the following writing prompt: “Write about a scene from a nightmare that comes true the next day.” She also created this OUTSTANDING illustration to accompany her spooky tale! You are going to have nightmares, we are not sorry!

Every night when I go to bed, I hear Thier creepy voices in my head. They tell me they are going to take me away from my mommy, and my home. They sing creepy songs la la la le laaa la all night long. At 2am I woke up. The dolls were all surounding me, my nightmare came true. They side your coming with us, your one of us now. When I looked in the mirror I had a creepy raggedy black dress, and I had no pupils anymore. I was not in my bedroom any more, I was in an abandoned house. It was the doll makers house were the doll army lives. There was a lot of spooky stuff happening. There was an old man making creepy dolls. There were blood smears, and banging sounds of trapped people trying to get out. There was loud glitching music too. The dolls all turned to me and said your one of us now, welcome home. I guess I live here now, forever.
